Join Us for a Walk with Our Herd in Murols

We warmly invite you to experience one of our guided walks with our friendly herd of goats and our pony through the forests and valleys surrounding Murols, including the enchanting Sentiers de l'Imaginaire.

We offer different walk options, each with a relaxed pace—there’s no rush, and we take breaks as needed to fully enjoy the journey.

Breakfast Walk

⏳ Duration: Approx. 2 hours
Choose between a steep or gentle walk while the goats forage along the trails. As we return home to Glâ, a traditional Scottish breakfast will have been slowly cooking on our stove, ready to enjoy in a cozy, rustic setting.

Sentier de l'Imaginaire: Circuit de Feu et de Vent

⏳ Duration: Approx. 2 hours
A walk suitable for all experience levels. We’ll guide you to a scenic spot with breathtaking views over the countryside and mountains, where we’ll prepare homemade lemonade and a light snack.

Sentier de l'Imaginaire: From Magma to Stone

⏳ Duration: 1–1.5 hours
Choose from two engaging and family-friendly trails exploring the volcanic past of Lacroix-Barrez. The Fage Route (2.6 km) is an easy stroll focusing on local geology, while the Lava Flow Route (3.3 km) offers a slightly longer journey with a fascinating look at how the land was shaped by fire and time. Along the way, we’ll pause to admire the unique stone formations, take in the views, and share a light homemade snack.

Adventure Day Walk

⏳ Duration: Approx. 6 hours
A medium-difficulty hike along the many forest trails in the commune of Murols. Along the way, we’ll take a break to prepare a simple organic lunch together.
Please note that weather conditions may influence the structure of the walk to ensure the well-being of our goats.

Dogs & Participation Rules

🐾 Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome, but barking or overly excited dogs are not allowed on goat walks.
🐾 Even if a dog has never chased or bitten before, goats can trigger a hunting instinct—please be mindful of this!
🐾 If the walk does not include goats, leashed dogs are not a problem.
