We live in a beautiful place, Mother Earth, but we treat her terribly. Consumerism, capitalism, and our ego have become more important than what keeps us alive. A little wake-up call: You can't eat money 🤑 so... how will you survive when the earth, all rivers, and the air are polluted?

Exactly.

We are completely out of balance, and I strive to restore harmony: with ourselves, others, and nature.

How do I do this? Together with YOU, because change can only happen when we join hands.

I'm part of a global community named Become the Change, which is filled with people who value sustainability, health, and freedom. Through Network Marketing and sharing Kangen Water, we combine forces and make an impact on single-use plastic usage and our health. Watch a  webinar or reach out to me directly to learn more.

Together we can create a more sustainable and enjoying life. For yourself, your lovedones and our beautiful planet. I'm here to guide you.

My personal story

I worked as a highly accomplished Lead Recruiter at a corporation based in the Netherlands. By society's standards, I had achieved it all: an excellent job, a great career with an impressive salary for my age (29), a residence in the heart of Amsterdam, a good physical condition, and a thriving social life.

To sustain this lifestyle, I dedicated myself to working 50-60 hours per week, visiting the gym six times a week, and getting just 5-6 hours of sleep each night. I wholeheartedly invested myself in my work and strongly identified as a "career woman." Naturally, I also made an effort to attend various social events, frequently relying on alcohol and drugs to keep up with the pace.

Everybody was living life accordingly, and I truly believed this was meant to be for me as well. Although an earlier burnout already warned me it wasn't, I kept going. I became fixated on my outward appearance and constantly strove to meet the expectations placed upon me, particularly those I imposed upon myself. In this demanding and fast-paced world, I felt that whatever I'd be doing, it would never good enough.

The turning point
I would have continued living in this destructive way, if it hadn't been for the fact that my new manager and I didn't get along. Consequently, I was unexpectedly dismissed fro an organization which felt like home, at the beginning of 2020. from an organization that felt like home. Initially devastated, i came to realize that it actually was the best thing that could have happened to me. They gave me back my freedom.

Journey of self-discovery

I left to Portugal with a one-way ticket in september 2020. A whole new world opened up before me as I made a conscious effort to let go of anything that no longer served my growth. "Where there's fear, there's growth" became my mantra.

Amongst others, I started volunteering, wild camping, hitchhiking (even for a boat!). I started living in communities, close to nature and learned how to live sustainable and grow my own food. I rediscovered what it means to be a woman and live in true connection with your body, mind and spirit.

Every opportunity for personal growth was faced willingly and I dove deep into the corners of my soul. This brought me incredible opportunities. This wasn't always pretty and it sure wasn't easy. There was, however, no way back. I became positively obsessed by unbecoming all I believed to be.
