Modern technology, city life, and busy work schedules can take a toll on your family. Reconnect and enjoy quality time in the French countryside. While we have a suggested program, our 25-hectare forest offers plenty of possibilities. Get in touch, and we can create a personalized plan that suits everyone in your family!
What to expect from a family week in the countryside
Our location is off the grid in the French mountains, with few distractions and beautiful views. It's the perfect place to take a break from your usual routine. We offer organized activities for three days, but the rest of the time is for you to relax.
The available activities during a family holiday
We have a variety of activities that can be spread out over three days, and we can decide on the schedule later. Let's discuss the options, as we believe in tailoring your experience to your preferences.
- Sleep in the forest - you can bring your own camping gear or use our hammocks
- Go on a nature hike with goats and our pony
- Plant trees and/or help in our (vegetable) garden
- Learn about natural remedies and edible wild plants
- Cook over an open fire and learn how to make a fire
- Make and bake your own bread on a stick above the fire
- Try your hand at bush craft activities like making your own spoon
- Visit a local market and explore an old medieval town (on Fridays)
- Make and bake pizza in our traditional stone oven
- Swim in a natural lake and have a picnic in the forest
- Get creative with painting or other arts and crafts
- Receive personalized family coaching (Marjo & Melissa are experienced coaches)
Accommodation
We're situated in a beautiful Natura 2000 environment and offer two types of accommodation suitable for your family weekend: camping or our traditional family Stone House. The prices for one week, based on 2 adults and 2 children, are as follows:
- Stone House: € 450,-
- Camping: € 210,-
Exchange and questions
The starting price for the family week is €699 (excluding accommodation) for 2 adults and 2 children, which includes three guided activities. Depending on your preferences, we can add more activities and create a personalized offer. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We're excited to welcome you to our forest.
